1977 Yamaha RD400 2-Stroke - $6500 (Corona)
Selling this vintage 1977 Yamaha RD400D w/ speed-odometer reading 6615 miles, current registration May/2020 and pink-slip on hand. Recently replaced new parts, chain & sprockets, front & rear tire, swing-arm bushings, Yamaha O.E.M levers and clutch cable. Also a complete tune up with new transmission oil, rebuilt rear caliper and new fork oil as well. Feel free to contact me for details on this beautiful bike. Thats clean, I like how it still has the original plate. :clap:

I think that plate is one of the new series black plate that is currently available. The original on a bike of this era would have been blue.

Did you notice the red rear turn signal lenses? Those must have been replaced, because I believe only the early '76 C-models with the different triangular dash pilot box got those.

Yes, you are correct. They must of just came out with those. I got a personalized plate about 18 months ago and wanted the black and was told they were not available for motorcycles.... :bang:

My C model came with red rear lenses and a neutral light  in the tach, other ind lights like newer models 1a1 13***.
