I have a NOS mirror that the weight inside came loose.

Anyone have a good way of removing the mirror glass to get to it.

I tried heating it to pull the plastic back, but maybe not enough

Might try a really thin shim. Maybe an old feeler gauge? Slip it behind the edge of the glass and work around it slowly.
