I changed my oil and head gaskets a few weeks ago. The head gaskets made the bike run with 30% more power. Afterwards it fouls plugs every few rides. Mainly the right plug. I dropped my main from 180 to 160 and no difference. Plugs look wet and oily when I check. Just took off the pipes and they aren't filling with oil and tranny level is unchanged but I only rode 30 miles or so. I never fouled plugs before the head gasket change.

Did you take any5hing else apart when you did the head gaskets?

No, I didn't do anything else.

if the wires/caps/coils are original, change them. also check charging voltage. a sudden need to change jetting is usually electrical in nature.

what exact bike and what mods are done to it?

Overphill

Stock pipes, y boot with foam filter. Pilot is a 25 and main is 160.  I went through everything electrical last year and got all that tested but didn't replace anything.

id look there. they just age out.

Sounds like good advice.  I'll try it and report back,

Try trimming a 1/4" from the plug wires (both ends) and reinsert into coils and plug caps. They tend to oxidize over time. :twocents:

We've all been there.  It's probably not even related to your gasket change.
The two times I chased this on my R5 it was:
- Charging issue, battery would fall below "x" colts and foul plugs.  That time it was cocked brushes in the pickup.
- Bad coil.  They age out, overheat then foul plugs.

I have found that Irridium plugs seem to last longer than traditional plugs too, but that is a different rabbit hole.
