Can I use RZ350 Carbs on 1977 RD400

Quick Question,
"Can I use 1983 RZ350 Carbs on 1977 RD400. May I know the Pros and Cons.

and are we talking canadian rz or us market with linked carbs?
yes they will work. yes they will fit. the jetting is TOTALLY wrong for a 400. they are 26mm while rd400 came with 28s.

Saw Carbs for sale in local ad, was thinking whether I can use it for my RD400 Build.
The carbs I have has Fuel in connection loose.

thats it? the brass spigot? -very- slightly deform it, and use green loctite and press back into the carb body.

Cambridge ones are a good price.  May have to snap them up.
