You should not need sealer with the oring.
I put sealer on the key and both side of the key way on motors with out the oring

if you have the oring IMHO theres no sealant needed.  :twocents:

Does that mean  on motors where there is no groove in the crank for o-ring, or you substitute sealant and skip the ring even if there is a groove? :cheerleader:
