Stock rd400 carbs

Hi guys
So, building My stockish rd400, iam thinking the stock carbs stay

I had these set lying around, never used Them. Thought i might water polish Them and put Them back together.

Can anyone tell me why and or is it normal, this pinol bolt is in, as seen in the picture?

And Any tips/ advice etc on using the stock carbs?

I Want to use oilpump as well :)

choke crossover fitting missing on bottom one. top one has oil port tapped and plugged. might want to look for another set of carbs to run.
