Ok not to waste money on what is very likely the same cylinders that come out of India,  but these are a curiosity to me. It seems like a bad deal, but almost worth buying just to see how bad they actually are.

The mismatch between liners and casting is a bit rough, but the die casting is streets ahead of anything that came out of the Yamaha factory back in the day.

Just port them and go.

I so want an experimental RD to play with porting. Stuff like this would be perfect...

Not always so unfortunately. The liners on some of the cheap cylinders twist, are often not very well bored or finished and the piston sets are the cheapest junk they can find. The liners are often porous, so that even if you try bore them out to get them round you get a bunch of small holes in the liner. The cylinders on ebay for little KTMs, PW 50's banshees and many other bikes all have similar problems. Some guys get them to work, others cant even get the piston to fit in the bore.
If you want to try run them I would suggest getting  a few spares so you could pick and choose the best of the bunch, and buy decent pistons.
