After 10,000km of riding my RD350/RD400 this summer I decided it was time for a little bit of refinement for the next few years. I always wanted another trail-capable bike ( I used to have a Wr250r), but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, until Yamaha came out with the unicorn bike; the Tenere 700! I made the big move and bought a brand new 2021 Tenere. From all the reviews I read and watched my expectations were quite high, after couple thousand kilometers I can testify the bike is the real deal, it is amazing on and off road.

Nice, congrats! I sat on one at last year's IMS when it was launched and it seemed like a very comfortable bike.
I'm sure it will give you years of enjoyment. (I'm more than a little jealous -- both of the bike and scenery.)

I went from R6-CBR600RR-ZX6R (late 90s early 2000) to R5-RD350-RD400 to Tenere 700, my first comfortable bike and first ABS too.
