where do you guys put your regulator rectifier combo on rd's and r5's

I used a longer bolt and fastened it inside the tool kit compartment under the tank in front of the seat.  I hope it stays cool enough in there.  There is space both above and below it, so that'll help.    The mounting holes almost lined up with the threads where the stock regulator goes.  Just a smidgen off, and the threads were kinda bunged up on one of the holes anyway.  The combo unit was making contact with the rear fender, and I didn't like that, so, up it went.  Also leaves a cleaner path for the wires going up and forward with them instead of down in front of the fender under the battery.
