... and I haven't heard "cap" used that way since high school.  "Capping" was a popular schoolyard activity to show who could give/take verbal abuse and who ... couldn't.  Lots of "your Mama" jokes and all manner of totally un-PC race/religion/size/weight/sexuality/intelligence/etc based insults. 

Good clean fun, right there with pop/locking and break dancing. No cap.
