I dab it on using the tip of the tube, then smear it very thin with a gloved finger.

It's way too viscous to use an acid brush, so a fingertip works well. 

Thanks.  I was going to use a brush.  Not now.  And I would of put to much.

Warm up the tube in the sun or some warm water makes it easier to smear around evenly.

Got the head on a couple of days ago.

 I used my finger instead of a brush like you guys recommended and it went well.
