That's a pretty brutal report...
Time and tech and understanding has helped the TM400 become more useful, yet the old skool brutality will always be available when you want it...as long as your heading straight.

they used to call TM400 Cyclone The Widowmaker back when they were new. Grew up riding TM125s and such before Elsinores came out, then eventually the Yamaha Monoshock bug bit me and never looked back.

 I have a TS185 and So-Cal-sdr200 gave me his old Clymer manual,,Thanks Bud!  The model specs in it for the TM's caught my eye. TM 125 23HP at 10,500 TM 250 30HP at 7.500 TM 400 40HP at 6.500!!  My 75 TS185 comes in at 17.5HP and it's a Hoot.
