I'm not sure if these were listed from a while back;they look familiar, while I was searching.

The seller may not have had the Best Offer option before.
They're good,but not new,and the price  ..

Yeah that price is thru the roof but the seller must be banking on the fact that they just don't come up for sale very often. I think even a best offer would have to be kinda expensive for what it is. Aside from that I was curious about the condition regarding the surface of the squish band area. Seems kinda rough. I personally don't like the gold anodized finish, I would probably paint them black if they were mine.

Are they really all that in terms of performance? I've read it's pretty much a 5hp bolt on item. I guess from what I've learned you can take stock heads and with custom cutting machine work pretty much achieve all the claimed performance gains anyways.

Those are "real".  Here's my experience:
- Send them out for a proper modern dome AND ORing groove (I failed this step).  SCR did mine but that was years ago.
- Send them out and get them re-annodized.  I sent my DG swingarm arm and heads to the same guy so the gold matches.
- I needed extra thick washers to properly torque them, but they are available.

Performance?  Who knows but they get looks and comments everywhere I go.  It's bling.

As recieved, blown up 400 heads.

Redomed for modern gas and a 350.

Reannodized:

HVC cycle had reproduction 350 DG heads recently and they still have 250 DG heads for $850. Don't know if they will make more for the 350. I have a set of VP billet heads on my RD.

Worthless trivial pursuit concerning DG heads.
Back around 1960 a company call 'Cal-Fab' made Radial Fin heads for Yamaha TD1/TD1A racers that match the 'modern' DG Radials. I'm not sure if Cal-Fab was absorbed by DG or just sold the rights to the design, but this is where they started.

I had 2 sets of the Cal-Fab Radials (both TD1A/TD1B or YDS2/YDS3 stud spacing - they are different), and had the chance to compare castings 'in-person;' they match the DGs:

I have had a set of DG heads along with some other RD parts kicking around my attic for about 30 years. I keep saying I need to get an RD, but never have. Have been content with my H2, Buffalo, and now TDR. Guess I need to shit or get off the pot with them.
