Looking around for RD350 NOS #416-11161-00-00 'Absorber 1' for the cyl. heads?

Does anyone make the rubber 'Fin Dampers'(cyls. & heads) for 73-75' RD250/RD350 Air Cooled models?
I've been hunting at different dealer sites around.. came-up w/ nothing.
They do help quiet the 'ring' of my 2-stroke 'ring dinger' a little.

Hmm interesting. Are you still doing the 350 conversion? If so and I never tried this before but I wonder if it helps to stick the cylinders and heads in a freezer for maybe an hour and try placing the rubber bits out in the hot sun or just warm em up with some kinda heater? Or just try a bit of soapy water on em? I dunno I never bothered putting em on my new cylinders. I guess I hear a little vibration sounds but it doesn't bother me.

the cyls are easy to get them into. the heads are a huge pia, i never got any in to stay. it say a heat gun would be a good idea.

I used a small dead blow hammer and gently tapped them in on mine.  Probably not the best way but it worked.

I pushed on the ones in the head and they went in. My thumbs hurt like hell for a few days after though lol.

The cylinder ones fall out if you over install them. Push them in too far and they will loosen up and will start to fall out. The rubber should be flush or just below flush to actually help with the noise. The fins act like tuning forks so the closer to the edge the better.
