My 75cc 2000 Derbi GPR -

Derbi 1.jpg

Came with an Arrow exhaust and a Mikuni Flatslide carb that required a bunch of tuning to make it ridable.

I've changed the graphics and powder coated the wheels and a few other parts.  The plan is to spray the entire cycle in silver with a matte clear, and have the Derbi logo in a gloss blue to match the wheels.

Thanks!

I just purchased a TZR250R to go with my Derbi GPR.

I grew up on 2-strokes (RD400 and RZ350) and needed to get back on one (40 years later).

The TZR is ok, but needs some refreshing.  Seems to run decent, but needs a good going over and tires.

I have been pouring over SoCal250's TZR refresh thread for info and tips.

I really enjoy everything 2-stroke!

That's pretty sweet! Is that the factory 75cc engine? Rare bird if so.

Thanks.

Yes, it's a factory 75cc engine (EBE-075), which is a stroked 50.

They brought a couple hundred into the US as 75s sometime around 2000.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

The name doesn't sound familiar.

I'm in the Madison area.

Do you know where he is loacted?

I regularly attend the Slimey Crud cycle gathering in Pine Bluff, WI, and he may as well.  Typically there are somewhere in the range of 500 to 700 cycles that show up. Not many Derbis. though I have seen one other roll by, but I've never seen it parked.  Unfortunately, not many 2-strokes in the mix.

I've had the Derbi there a few times, and plan to have the TZR250 there for the fall gathering (Sunday, Oct 5, 2025).

There's one of these for sale on FB marketplace in Kentucky that looks pretty good, but it needs bodywork and an air filter. What's the spares situation like?

Not great.

I've been waiting months for a gasket kit, from Treats, to come in.

Should be cheap.

I bought mine in ok shape about 10 years ago for $1200 locally and Titled.

As I got it -

Thanks! So if I decide to go for this one and it's got bits missing then it will probably stay that way unless I go to Italy and find a dealer.
