That's sweet!

Not sure I am cutout for the drug kingpin life, and at middle age I probably missed my 'opportunity' to be one, but when you see stuff like that I kind of dream.

He had a nice collection, including race-winning GP bikes from Rossi, Lorenzo, and others. MM93's Moto2 bike. And a group of 500GP bikes. And in the photo I see a Supermono, one of only 67 built
They also seized his CLK-GTR Roadster

You can afford all that stuff when your "business" is doing an estimated $1B per year

CLK is one of those cars for me. I watched Mark Webber go into the trees in real time driving at Le Mans.

cash sale collector bike and cars are a great way to 'hide' money. as long as you don't get caught.....  Have a good friend that is very well off who 'hides' his money (he's not doing anything illegal) in the same way.

I'm thinking they'll likely be held as evidence in any future prosecution of the "kingpin" when/if he's caught.

I would 'Adopt' any of those bikes, especially if it was 'Free to good home',although I doubt that will ever happen

You're probably right, it makes perfect sense. But wow, I mean when you think about it the collection is huge and it takes up a lot of space. I wonder if they just keep it where it is under lock and key and continuous security that way it isn't looted or destroyed. I think it would make sense to not have to move all of that and spend the funds to relocate it and all that entails and there's the rub...All that taxpayer money spent on silly BS.For sure it's impressive but what a nui$ance.
