Dragged this one out on my barn and into the shop.
So I bought this several years ago.  I drove to New Jersey, I bought this and 2 other bikes.
 A 62 yds2, a ys5 something and this
 A 65 yds3
The guys house was on the south coast of Jersey. The bikes were in a shed but at leat allt doors were shut and it was semi dry in there.
Since then I sold the ys I kept the yds2 and 3. So the story on this bike is. . It was his brother's who passed away some years earlier.
The bike was brand new but was stolen a month after the brother  bought it.
The cops cought the teenager the next day after he crashed it.
The kid sprayed primer all over it trying to hide it. The brother started to repair it, took off the controls and smashed stuff but then parked it in the shed and never touched it again.
I have the  original tank and speedo..
The speedometer shows 260 miles but it was destroyed with the headlamp and ears and other stuff. as you see. I guess the odometer was messed up in the crash,  it's all crushed.
Believe it or not te engine is free and has great compression.
It goes through the gears with no noise, everything is so crusty and rusty.

thats cool. I'd def reseal the outer crank seals and maybe pull the topend and just clean everything, then put it back. will probably be fine. thats a great project.  long term but a good one.
