I have a 2001 SV that I used to take to track days but I got kinda old for that now. I have it tweaked out with a Penske shock ($1000), fork emulators, and a cam swap using 2nd gen cam. The thing honks but I only ride it once in a while. It's funny, the power band is so linear that right when expect it to come on the pipe, like an RD, the rev limiter turns on.

The 3XV is as close to a street legal TZ as you can get. Crankcases are identical except the machining for the generator. Rods are identical, Cranks fit, cylinders fit, reed valves...intakes...transmissions and clutches...
I love my RGV's but a properly built 3XV has to be the ultimate corner carver
The head designer of the 3XV also created the 4XV...
...the first gen R1...

RS250 for track - KD80 - JR50 for kids
TS/TM400 supermoto style...
