failure rate is really high with those. they are  chinese knockoff of a petronix unit. (ive used petronix units before, on bikes and cars). if i were you, id buy 2 and carry one with you if you have to have it.

There's a Pertronix now that works directly with the points cam.

That's the way to go, IMO. But I'm already running Pertronix...

I have just never seen the bolt on double pick up.
Maybe, the old piranha units. Which, I have played with.
Just wanted to hear some chatter about them.

nicks (vintage smoke) ignition is a bolt on dual pickup. I know hes still selling them. Not nearly as cheap though, but pretty damn solid.  this is on my r5.

I always thought they were knock offs of Charlie's Place ones. VS dyna is the best upgrade for you.
