Correction: ZXR400R
I've seen a few of these for sale in the US. Never sold here though.
His description and info has a lot to be desired.

And the big issue...it's not a two-stroke!

Those grey market 400's may not be a two stroke, but they are light, nimble, rev to 14000 and almost as much fun to ride. Loved my VFR 400

It's a great looking swingarm and the large OD tapered rollers are one of the few non-plain bearing swingarms I have seen that actually make sense. One of these days I am going to build one for my RD, but with aluminum tube, and round tube for the arm section. I have never cared for the mono-shock look arm on a twin shock bike, but that's just my taste. It would be cool to machine some mandrels and create an oval section tube in house, but that's probably more expense and work than I am up for.

With those tapered roller bearings is the pivot bolt just tightened up till the bearings start to bind, and then slacked off slightly with no crush tube between the bearings?

Turning Wrenches / Re: Crank rebuild question

If I was in the market for a rebuild Id be interested in a service offering bearing options like Koyo 8 ball, Suzuki big end bearing and maybe even the small end bearings iwt an extra roller (cant remember what they come from at the moment). Sure I could supply the parts myself, but its so much more convenient and eliminates delays caused by possibly ordering incorrect parts or supply chin issues.

140 Foot Pounds Horsepower
132 BHP Exhaust: Revival Cycles fabricated Stainless Steel 2-into-2 Exhaust/Muffler

WTF is Foot Pounds Horsepower and BHP Exhaust. Guy seems really really exited about this bike, but doesn't seem to know anything about bikes.

Very expensive little piece of billet to make your chain whacked cases look pretty again.

Do you have the Athena cylinders only?
I have only ever seen them sold as a kit with a head included that has removable domes.

The one was originally listed with a TZ front end. which was later listed by itself in Seattle for 2 or 3K.
Bike was listed for parts for ages. \now back on with a friend. Second bike looks like something you dont want to buy. "Corroded" vin looks a lot like ground off vin

Kevin Herr does some great porting work, but it seems like the seller does not really know how to describe what he has properly. Confusing description of the zeel, no mention of wheels/suspension swap or frame mods or if its set up for race gas or pump.
Not bad looking and the spare motor is a big bonus but its hard to see whats in the so called big rolling box of spares

Nicasil bores. Nice

can you measure how many amps that fan draws? I have a GSXR fan in my 421 that pulls over 6 amps and is quite heavy on the charging system.
#193
That is rough, and so is the sellers grammar.
Sold in less than 2 hr though.

Pipes look weird. Are they on the wrong sides?
