I've used RD decals.
Look like factory, and you can clear over them...but that was close to 10 years ago, hopefully still the same quality.

Dave, I'm guilty of the same thing. When you hear hoofbeats, think "horse", not "Zebra".

Take your originals & soak them in ArmorAll for a few days.
See if they soften.
I have also soaked them in brake fluid.
They soften up, then soak in ArmorAll after.

There are a few sellers on Ebay selling the decal sets for RZ's, TZR's RD500, etc.
And some other sites as well.

Anyone have any experience with the quality of these.
They can be priced drastically different.

I kinda like that MZ. Even though it looks like 1970's school AV equipment.

That front fender would protect you from land mines.

Turning Wrenches / Ebay Carb Boots

Just got my '71 R5 back together after sitting blown up for almost 6 years.  Failed a leakdown test with TONS of air dumping out the intake boots.
These are the cheapo boots off ebay.
Spent a couple extra bucks on the ones that EconomyCycle carries.  The originals I have show zero signs of dry rot, but they are hard as a rock.

Ah, that is good news. Much appreciated!

4mm Banshee cranks have got soooo cheap, it's extremely tempting to try and mod to fit them. I'm finishing up another motor at the moment, but I think I'll have to investigate as my next project. I've got some tatty old cases to throw at the cause.
