Thank you Mark, I knew you were a car guy also thats why I included the car pic with the Daytona. Here is a better pic. Hopefully any purists do not mind the few tweaks to the Daytona.

I will be asking a few questions from some of you. One of the bikes behind the Daytona, I was installing a rear spoke disc hub on, but the spokes Buchannans sent me just do not fit right. Anyway, I will explain further when I get to it, maybe just drilling ?? Or something. Thaks again guys, such a good group of bike/car guys !!

Mark, almost forgot, my son has a laser, vinyl cutter and 3d printer. I had him burn me a puck for under kick stand for show as it was on soft grass. if you want one, let me know what you want burned in it. I did not sand and finish this one, so it looks a bit rough. He also test printed a tank badge for an R5 for me to test fit.

Hemis (the real, 426 Hemi) are scarce these days. What carb setup? When I was a teen, my friends ran a 426 with 2x4 barrel setup on dirt.

That is a monster! Harry Hyde told us the hemi couldn't be fed too much air and fuel. The issue becomes traction. Our engine came from a wrecked R/T that was pulled out of a tree where it missed a curve and ran off a cliff. Really, a bit too much engine for dirt in the late 60's.

sweet thanks. actually we have a laser and sla printer here at work but i appreciate it. and, im the only one that knows how to use either, lol.

no offense, id walk right past the daytona to look at the car 1st, I was a (muscle)car guy long before i was a bike guy.  Even back in 'the day' that was a crazy rare car.

Thanks Mark,,,I have been a Mopar guy all my life. Have owned around 50 different ones. Bought this Super Bee in 1975 have owned ever since. Just dont take it out much these days. It is one of 94 hemi automatic cars, plain bench seat, all black. According to the odds(they have no records) around 5 black ones built, possibly only this one or maybe one or two others left.

Nice rides!!  What part of Southern Illinois?  I grew up near Mt Vernon and went to SIU in Carbondale.

Ditto on far far from Chicago, I had the unfortunate opportunity to live there for a couple of years before I could get a transfer.   I haven't been back but I do miss the deep dish pizza.
