TZR250 3XV fuel tank question

what a shame you had to drill the lock, i thought that the whole yoke would have lifted up enough at the rear to allow the lock to disengage, wrong again!

Yep unfortunately the part of the cap with the latch that goes into the tank mouth is too tight and extends too deep to allow the assembly to be lifted up much and tilted. I worked at it for quite a while and it was very tight.
At least now it's resolved and I can move on.
