I needed to replace an old Simpson helmet, and the Shoei was a screaming bargain. It's how I learned that my head is Arai-shaped!

Maybe, but I haven't seen it in years. Blue Malcolm Smith fanny pack that I used all the time, on road and off. I do still have the jacket and the red & white AGVs, though. My wife makes fun of them...it was the 90s, OK?!

Your gloves have held up better than mine!
The jacket, back in the day:

It's what we did just before replacing a rear tire  :celebrate:

I found these in a tote, they were the first street gloves I bought after graduating from work gloves, circa 1988. They seem to have shrunk!

They protected my hands admirably in The Incident but suffered some. I sewed that palm patch on myself as an underfed college student, then color-matched it with an el marko.
Anyone else have some vintage riding togs to show?

General Chatter / Re: VP Fuels...

I don't get far from home on the bike much anymore, so I could go to premix but never have for long. The RZ has been my daily transportation to work the last few weeks with a tank bag for my lunch and whatever else bungee corded behind me (a set of RZ cases yesterday). There's a Cenex station selling ethanol-free gas in town, so I fill up there with the local old car crowd. I keep some ethanol-free fuel at home for anything that has diaphragms in it's carb, and I treat the cheap fuel before putting it in carbs with floats. A big part of my work life involves cleaning gummed-up carburetors!

Local pickup only...if I lived near there, I'd be wondering what his reserve is.

Such great details!

And I did it again. Bought another set of pipes on eBay that are, as yet, unidentified. Fell in love with the look of them, made an offer which was accepted and my goose was cooked!
