Economy Cycle / RZ350 fork brace
January 14, 2022, 08:12:38 AM
Hi John,

Can you advise when the beautiful polished billet RZ350 fork brace will be back in stock? I'd like to purchase yours and will be buying one before the end of April. Thanks!

Looking for info for a friend who is looking for a new upgraded monoshock that will bolt on for a US spec 84-85 RZ350. He's looking not to break the bank but have a nice new shock that will perform better than a tired stocker. Anyone know if YSS sells one? He found a YSS monoshock for a late model R6 that is only 5mm longer than the stock RZ350 unit. I believe that may work fine as he'll only need to source a lower mount bushing. Can anyone contribute any info? Thanks in advance!

General Chatter / Mystery Gap 2021 bike- details?
September 23, 2021, 12:28:27 PM
A friend of mine sent me this pic of this bike at the Gap 2 Stroke Meet this year. I think it may be a custom Aprilia RS250? Anyone know the owner and mods to this Gulf livery stunner?

Most of you know that I give away free stickers with purchases of any items I sale including eBay. When I order a new large sticker lot, I pull out the non PC and inappropriate ones to give away.  I have a couple of sets of 25 or so that I'll mail to any members that are into these.  :haw: Post here, then PM me your name and mailing address and will get them out.  :whoop: Thanks!

I have a nice set of hard to find set of the 2001-2003 Yamaha R1 Gold Spot rebuilt and loaded front brake calipers for sale. The Gold Spots differ from the Blue Spot caliper in that the GS has aluminum pistons that won't corrode whereas the BS have steel pistons. In short, the GS brakes will not have to be rebuilt as often. These were meticulously cleaned, have a new All Balls rebuild kit, and have new Volar HH sintered pads installed. Unless you are putting them on a 2002-03 R1, you will need the correct adapter for your model bike and forks. These come with the mounting bolts, banjo bolts with new crush washers, bleeders with new rubbers. As far as RZ350's; I do know that Tony Dukas has the adapters for stock RZ forks, Wicked in CA, and Nigel (NK) in the UK. Price is $220 for the set plus shipping costs and I only ship CONUS. Payment to be made by PayPal (gifted preferred) or add 3.5% to the total cost if not gifting through PP. I will also have an additional set of Gold Spot front calipers for sale in a week or so just waiting on the rebuild/ seals kit. I'll post up when that set is ready.

I have two sets of rebuilt 1999-2003 Yamaha R1 Blue Spot front brake caliper sets for sale. These have been totally disassembled and cleaned ultrasonically with all seals and rubbers replaced with an All Balls kit. They also come with HH sintered pads that have been treated to anti squeal spray treatment on the reverse side. New crush washers and bleed nipple rubbers too. Several vendors sell the caliper adapters depending on the model and rotors you plan on using. A tremendous upgrade in an important category. You'll get both a left and a right front caliper in this set. $200 plus shipping per set. Sorry, no International shipping due to weight of package. PayPal or personal check accepted.

Member evansje1 (John Evans) from Arkansas and a fellow RZ350 owner/ rider needs our positive thoughts and prayers. John has esophageal cancer and will be undergoing treatment consisting of 6 weeks of chemo and radiation followed by 6 weeks of rest, then surgery. John is a great guy and one of the best. Sure hated to hear of this bad news but he is strong in faith and a fighter.

Can anyone help me determine the year model for this Suzuki RM ad? I've tried google with no success. A definitive year model would be greatly appreciated!

Thought I was being patient but ham fisted the tap I was using in one of the brake master cylinder cap holes and snapped it. Was tapping it due to A stripped screw and having to drill out screw. The tap is not protruding much from hole level and I can't get on it with my vampliers or a vice grip. I also have no welding skills. Is the master cylinder for RZ350 made out of aluminum? If so, I was reading about a chemical process using potassium alum in hot water to eventually break up the broken tap. Any other ideas? May have to pay someone to extract it. BTW, this isn't on my bike- just one I was rebuilding and refurbishing for resale. I have a FZ8 Master with gold dot R1 rotors and calipers on my RZ.

We've had a couple of home invasion attempts near where I live. I'm looking for some info, guidance, and reviews on those Ring type security doorbell monitors. What type of costs would one be looking at for the door unit and say one additional camera focused on your driveway? I'm assuming they work with apps that alert your iPhones/ devices? Are their hidden costs and monthly service fees? I'm also an advocate for 2nd Amendment rights and have a CC permit. But, I can't keep things locked and loaded due to one of our children (young adult) living with us having several mental health diagnoses with past extensive history of inpatient psychiatric hospitalizations. Very stable over last couple of years though... good thing!  If you don't agree with 2nd amendment rights, I'm politely asking those not to turn this thread into a political shit storm. I have been looking and reading reviews on biometric handgun safes that use fingerprint technology to gain quick access however reviews are all over the place for some of these. My present handgun safe uses 3 digit tumblers which are useless when time is of the essence. Looking for those that did their due diligence here with tips, guidance, recommendations. Thanks in advance for input on these two topics/ needs.

Been reading on the web about spoke cleaning and there are so many ways to do this. What sprays have you found that may make the task easier and what techniques do you use? I realize it is very labor intensive. Thanks!

I've used Gunk brand, Berryman's, and Yamahas brand in a gallon container submerging removed parts and jets. What have you found to work best? I know Chuck/ Supertune has a recommendation but I can'r remember it? Thanks.
