I get mixed info on doing a less than full throttle chop. Seems like pre corn juice days it was standard practice, but these days it might not work?
Here in Sconnie we have pretty wide access to 91 octane ethanol free fuel.
Is a 1/2 throttle chop do-able?

Certainly is do-able. Do you show signs and symptoms of poor running?
Always remember that a non-ethanol fuel will run richer than the std ethanol 93.
My ported 400's I build, all run better with ethanol fuels especially at half throttle in the midrange.

I've got a flat spot I'm trying to sort and I just want to keep tabs on jetting changes.

Well that's just too easy! I'll try some corn juice too.
