Title: Napa Flasher
Post by: forexer on December 16, 2023, 05:10:45 PM
I need a new flasher for my turn indicators does anyone have the flasher part number for the Napa replacement flasher? This is a stock RD400 w/ no LED's.
Also is it a straight forward remove and replace or do I need to do some wiring mods?
Thank you!

i think its a straight swap. i know tim has run them before. but any 2 prong flasher will, should, work.

It's plug & play.
Several years ago I installed a two-prong Novita EL12 low-load electronic unit. (I believe the OEM unit is 3-prong and thermal type).
If you use a standard type relay you just need to be sure that the minimum load is matched with the RD400 bulb load. If I remember right it's 27w + 27w + 3.4w (or about 4.5 Amps)
