So the Barnett clutches are no good.

No, they're good. It's just that the seller doesn't even know a common brand name. It's a flag that the seller is a poser and/or flipper

I believe I posted about this bike with its Craigslist ad. It's been for sale for a few years. The seller is a flipper/dealer who just spams the local CL with overpriced ads. He seems to know very little about what he's selling or 2-strokes in general. I think he's the same guy with the green Daytona.

So about the bike.
If its legit.

These full faring models came after our USA RZ's.
Sold in Canada as the S & Europe as the F2.

anyone familiar with these & their performance?

they arent that far off from a stock us spec rz, except for the pipes & carbs (not linked). really no major huge differences, but there are some small things. tims 'grey ghost' is one.

I was thinking the full fairing would fancy some riders.

your TZR has the same type, right

Yep, and he had a red RD400 ad that was written in all caps and said something about being street legal, and he had a RD350B that was a slapped together repainted POS on CL for at least 2 years. All his stuff is way overpriced and he's very proud of them but knows very little about the true details and specs. He also uses at least 2 different phone numbers, maybe 3.

That is a good looking RZ. When you go test ride it you may slide off of that armor all'd seat though.

Besides the full fairing they have improved stock porting, power jet carburetors, different pipes (kind of look aftermarket), clip-on bars, "improved" forks and front fender, wheel spokes are fully slotted, maybe a little bit more.

I've always wanted to add one of these to my horde but as mentioned they are difficult to find in the US and now like most of our beloved bikes getting out of reach for the hobbyist.

fairings on the tzr are totally different in the way they are done, mounted, etc.. TBH, a back and forth about running the bike naked w a round headlight.

I bought a Daytona from a guy in St. Catherines, Canada.
He was a collector, and had one of these he was thinking of selling.

He was going to ask $14K for it.
