I'm not sure how accurate these are because Yamaha documents have a lot of errors, and Yamaha was notorious for poor record keeping, especially in the early days. The YD3 number seems suspect considering it was was one of their early models. It's hard to believe the number could be that high. These are based on serial number ranges:
