Way off topic I know.
On November 10th, 1975, the ore carrier SS Edmund Fitzgerald sank in Lake Superior with all hands around 7:10PM, some 15 nautical miles from the safety of Whitefish bay. A lot of folks know this, but, here's something a lot don't. One of the sailors on the Fitzgerald, Bruce Hudson (22, Deckhand), had just that summer purchased a motorcycle much to his mother's concern. To which he replied: "Don't worry about me riding a motorcycle mom. When I go out, the whole world's gonna know."
Well, maybe the whole world doesn't know. But, I do.
Here's to the 29.

The man's got talent that's for sure!
Merchant Marine is an honorable profession that has been very important to our nations defense.
My father was a merchant Marine, second line of defense.
Merchant Marines are very much a part of military and history. Have a ton of admiration for them. :patriot: :patriot: thanks Pid   And a heartfelt thank you to other veterans here on 2SW
