my vito's crank checked out to .0002", i was pretty happy with that TBH. ;) especially since RIGHT ON THAT PAGE: "Please check our dealers if we are out of stock: Vito's Performance and West Coast Atv."  :dawg: I'd bet dollars to donuts they all roll out of the same factory . and 100% for sure thats the same crank vitos sells.

maybe 10 years ago id be leery.. but i've also heard bad things about the reproduction acrd cyls.. know 3 bikes 1st hand running them, zero issues.

there were 421 conversations, i advised against it due to street riding.. but then again, not my bike. Not sure how the 392 kits work on road manners though, i  would imagine light switch vs an rz motor w power valves.

Turning Wrenches / Re: Wiring Question

THE 400 UNITS CONTROL THE rotor by switching the ground on/off as needed(exact opposite on a 350). so yes, it needs a switched 12v source to the brown wire . fusing it isn't a bad idea of course, but if can be fused from the feed wire.  on the stock harness, if you look, it's on the 2nd to bottom fuse in the box in the diagram.

does anybody have any details? I'm so sad he's gone.. I was lucky enough to spend an afternoon with him in his hanger/home/shop back in 22 (on my honeymoon actually). Damn shame. this is the only recent thing i have found:

it wouldn't idle at all if the fuel level was too low. it has to be high enough to hit the pilot. that being said, the fact it needs the slide raised that much which will draw fuel from the needle circuit tells me it -might-  be too lean.  thinking about it a bit more..it could Aldo be fuel starvation... in regards to feed. if the petcock or tank vent is clogged, it may not be able  to refill the bowl in 10 Mins of idling.  try to idle it w the gas cap off the bike. if it still dies, then put cap back on, check flow of petcock.  for, a minute into a bucket . watch it. if it decreases pretty quick, might be that.if all that checks out.. might be electrical but, thats a different ball game

sounds like the pilot isnt the right size or the fuel level is incorrect. sounds like the pilot is too small IMHO

oh fuck no.

yup. ditch those filters. either get all foam unis or a y boot. correct info on lines above
