Title: Lost my racing channel
Post by: SoCal250 on August 03, 2019, 03:18:12 AM
Dammit! >:( Without notice my crappy TV provider Frontier just pulled the beIN Sports channel, my favorite and most-watched channel. That was the final straw...time to change providers.

I just signed up for MotoGP VideoPass so at least I can watch that for the rest of the season. So far I like the world feed announcers better than the VideoPass ones. Don't know what I'm going to do about WSBK and MotoAmerica for the remainder of the season.

This REALLY sucks!  :bang:

I guess the announcers for the Moto3 practice were the B-team or something because they stepped aside and now Matt Birt & Steve Day are doing MotoGP FP3. It's nice to have the familiar voices back!

Signing up for VideoPass was the worst thing I could have done...
It's made a MotoGP addiction much worse

Now I have access to all practice sessions and press conferences, in addition to qualifying and the races. :help:   I ... can't ... stop ... watching ... this!!

If you weren't 40 miles away, I'd bring all the beer and food, spend the race weekend
at your house.
Yeaa, I am about to drop DirecTV myself. Been with them over 20 years. Price
keeps going up and the channel selections keep going down. Plus most everything
on Hist, Discovery National Geo etc... are 5 year old re-runs.
Rant mode off...
Cheers, Jeff

What a race! Didn't catch the Moto 2-3 races but the premier class race was awesome. The racing here at MotoAmerica this weekend is fantastic also.

There is a torrent based site that has all of the races/coverage if anyone would like an invite.  I'm a videopass subscriber but prefer the BTSport coverage (which is not available in the US.)  This is how I justify it from a moral standpoint.

Despite the 40 miles I'm sure we could make it work. I'd be open to a MotoGP party weekend at my house! :cheerleader:  I have a few spare bedrooms and couches, (and plenty of room for bikes). And the BBQ is always ready. :patriot:  We could also add a 2T ride :vroom: and/or wrenchfest

SlingTV had BeIN Sports channel when we had it in their sports package.  Really liked SlingTV, but dropped it for HuluTV last year to get local channels.
