Suzuki RG250 TM28SS carburetors on AC RD350

Do we need to modify the Suzuki RG250 TM28SS carburetors before using on an air cooled RD350 ? I can see that the air jet is blocked  on these carbs compared to VM28-418 individual flat slide carbs

probably.

you know, oem application carbs are not always the better option as they are specified for that particular bike.  I've worked with these carbs on an aprilia rs250, the basic ones from sudco were easier to deal with IMHO on my rd. also, youre going to have to rejet quite a bit to get them right.

They should work just fine.

The TM28SS on my TDR are without adjustable air screws.

Thank you. Should I fix an air jet or it will complicate the settings further ?

Anyone here using RG250 TM28SS carbs on a RD350 ? if so pls share jetting details and mods done if any...thanks
