Title: 75 RD350 Deals Gap Prep begins

Started on 3rd kick after setting 3 months and ran perfect. I just won a new to me speedometer off flea bay as the odometer reset function just shit the bed on the currently installed speedometer. The neutral light sometimes fails to light always cured by a light slap to the gauge face so that will be addressed by bulb change and or socket clean up. Other than that, adjust the chain and wipe it off and Bob's your Uncle. Hopefully the Phoenix Project will just need a chain adjustment and a wipe down. I did uncover it and saw no obvious leaks or other anomalies but it too has not been started in at least 3 months.

Where did you get that seat?  Looks like stock trim.  I really don't feel like searching through 67 pages of your posts - sorry.

I have 2 stock seats in great shape and was  considering having one modified to look like yours...

I got it off eBay several years ago for $100 from a guy in Texas who bought it from an eBay vendor in Vietnam and decided to go a different way with his RD. It is a supposedly a Guelliera ( not sure on spelling) replica. It has held up pretty well and fits perfectly. I wish it didn't have the trim strips as they have both slightly punctured the vinyl in the front. It is quite comfortable considering it is a cheap replica.

"Giuliari" type.
It may be a Texavina or something similar. Texavina - Yamaha seats (https://texavina.com/yamaha-motorcyle-seat/)

you can't ask for a nicer used speedometer.
my seat is a vietnam seat off ebay. i couldn't be happier with the looks and fit. it didn't come with the yamaha stencil.

Thanks
Yep I am very happy with my Vietnam seat. I installed the speedometer this morning. It has a little fog or something inside the glass near the bottom in one place.  You cant see it in the photo due to the angle and I haven't checked it for operation. I hope it works. I also swapped out the intermittent neutral light bulb with an LED replacement and cleaned the socket.

hopefully once you install it and put the bulb sockets in it will seal it up and prevent any future moisture if that's what it is. beautiful orange color shows very well.
i can't make it to the Gap this year but I hope everyone has a great time and is safe.
