I went to install the Dogster exhaust, and my questions is, what are the springs for? I see springs on other chambers that have the flange that attaches to the head, first. Then the chamber slides into flange and is held into place by springs. These have the flanges that look like power pipes or even stock head pipes. Granted, with the crush washers they don't tighten down so it's not a flush connection with head, so maybe that's why so it wiggles, some?
Thx.

use the springs, they will keep the pipe tight in the flanges, but still allow some wiggle so they don't crack. the tzr pipes came shipped like that as well.

hurry up and get them installed dammit we need a report.  :taz:  :dawg:

LOL. Bike is almost ready to fire up after 6 months, and hopefully it does. Just put tank on, need to attach fuel lines, gas her up then kick the shat out of it in hopes she comes back to life. Will snap a pic of bike with pipes on in a bit and post.
Thx
