I'll start a new topic on questions asked on SoCal250's post. This link explains how to deduct those 1099-K forms Ebay and Paypal will be sending out for anyone that received $600 or more in gross sales for your used stuff. You will be getting these 1099-K forms even if you got any money transferred to you through Paypal for any reason. I don't think friends and family payments will be included. This guy does a good job on how to file the proper forms to prove you didn't make money selling your used stuff that cost more than you sold it for and no tax is due.
