It seems so short sighted. "Right piston went out and I'm not fixing it".
Could be a two hour fix depending on what blew. Even worst case is rebuild from the crank up.
He must think that each bit is gold and worth his "research" time to obtain top dollar. Not to mention all the Ebay management time and EBay /shipping Nick, then the leftover stuff depending how far he breaks it down.

Agreed. I'll never understand people breaking down perfectly rebuildable bikes/cars just to try and make a few extra bucks.
