I'm not in it but recently started watching. It's fascinating. Now that it's in a bit of a dip because of the broker "intervention", I'm tempted to get a few shares just to be part of history. But, at the end of the day cooler heads prevail and it's best to stay pragmatic about investments.

It may never get re-done.  This one is equally outrageous from a different era and has stood the test of time.  There were a few others from this collection that also did.

It could be a nice rider with a less loud color scheme and some tweaks.

Don't be surprised if you find the silencers lacking in the packing material department. You should plan to repack them before install. Mine were packed sparsly.

Hi pdxjim...   my quest for more power is basically more grunt. I like a stock bike for this reason but I find my Rd400 could always use more low and mid power. I was hoping that lowering the cylinders by .5mm Id be producing more torque. However... I dont think .5mm will be too noticeable but combined with a .9mm squish it would help out. I ride my bike around town mostly ... I am rarely above 5500 and at cruise im 3000 to 4000 rom max so higher ports and aftermarket pipes arent something that would benefit me.

Plus I LOVE the look and sound of stock pipes.

You could just lower the final drive gearing and install a lighter 520 chain while you're at it. Probably the best way to go to increase low end power unless you plan to do more extensive engine work.

A SR400 MC is a bolt on part. The stock brake light switch and mirror fits right on too.

its a bit more than that, you have to deal with the pin though the rod, but its not hard. I have pics at home how i did it.

R5s and 350s have to have the pin removed too... Good to know! That's easy to do.

Rd400 rods have some more machining to do as the domed top needs to be cut off.

R5s and 350s just require drilling I think two holes at the bottom of the rods and then chamfering the holes. Your emulators will probably come with instructions or you can get them from the Race Tech website.
