A guy on the RGV forum was asking about it and bidding on it for a while...
But no verification of engine condition, and severely limited parts availability.

Definitely a UK built frame/swingarm.
Looks like the one that was built a number of years ago over there.

Would definitely love to see pics of what it looks like now, the barn find patina look is so much cooler than restored in many cases. And dry clutches are just plain cool.

Maybe it's leaking internally, through the piston that slides back when you pull the lever...like a bad seal in a choke valve.
If it's not internal, possibly use a copper washer like used on brake lines or bottoms of fork tubes.

Quote from: 85RZwade on January 26, 2024, 11:56:35 AMRandy, I love that Jemco and I predict that bike will be giggle-in-the-helmet fun for you. Great project and your write-ups are always entertaining

Thanks
Wish I could write up more, but the older I get the more I think about doing, and the less I actually do... :umm:

It's the frame from the above TM/TS400 project.
Have a set of fork tubes ordered from franks forks, as the originals had been slightly bent. A set of aluminum body Icons for the rear have been waiting in a box to get used.

Using a set of aluminum TM triples to replace the bent (steering stop) heavy steel original TS version

Frame is ready for its next life...used polyuroxy black for primer, and then clear coated with about 10% flatner to give it the right look.
....just need to get some motivation, and my chemicals for my replating of nuts/bolts/axles...

That would be a cool place to explore
From what I can remember there is a Rich Oliver TZ250 at Barber also.

Thanks for that
Does the Zeel basically just go in between the coils and the vape?
My Vape does not show what if any type of curve the ignition I bought has (TM400)... which make me wonder how a curve of any kind can come from the vape without some kind of box in between to create one?

I see where vape has an advance box available. Can this be adapted to any Vape? I have one for my TM400 motor, but have no idea if it has some built in curve to it, or if will need to get the advancing box for more curve options.
I have been using Zeel ignitions for years now, has anyone successfully used a Zeel advance adjuster with a Vape?

73 TS400 with a TM400 motor is what I decided on.

Still in process....

I'm guessing that's because all my strokers are watercooled

First version built with the 300 KTM cylinders had a twin crank crankcase, this is a single crank, making more room for pipes and better carb placement looking more like a Honda NSR250. Looks like some serious reed valve area for maximum flow.

Looks like I might have to sell a few other bikes to get the bits to build one of these.
