I am considering attending this show again this year. Last year we came with 5 motorcycles. This year I am considering doing the ride on Saturday.

Does anyone know of very secure parking for a truck/trailer during the ride event?

Like perhaps at somebody's house that lives close by?

Thank you.

Thanks SoCal250.

I just sent them an email to see if my bike is acceptable for the show portion.

Have you been to this event in previous years?

Yesterday at The Quail (I didn't see the usual SoCal guys up here this year)

It was a great show as always.

This was the best weather I have ever seen out there. My only complaint about the weather is it seemed like every time I started my bike this microclimate blue fog would come and settle over me. I think it is my personality.

As you may notice in my video I did many startups of my bike (pared down quite a bit) per requests by the good people at the show. There was a lot of spectacular "little bit of everything" motorcycles there.

Enjoy the video with lots of photos!

Turning Wrenches / Re: Gas tanks from India? RZ350

An ebay seller listed an address close to me. I emailed him this

"Where do these fuel tanks come from? I am local to you and would like to come and take a look at this."

And the reply was

"Hi,

Thanks for your email.

Our manufacturing unit is in India and these items comes from there. We usually have them in stock, but due to the ongoing pandemic situation our inventory is depleted. These are made to order items and will be shipped to you once the order is placed.

Being an US based company we deal in top quality items and offer great after sales service. If there is any issue with the item received then you can deal locally with us instead of getting in touch with overseas sellers. The returns if any will also be handled locally, which saves a lot of time and cost for the buyers in any such instance.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

With rgds,
Vintage Bike USA"

With not much spare time to mess with "local" returns which probably would not go well, I will pass on these.

Here is a short noon smokeout video. Being a participant I was not able to walk around and make videos of the other folks making smoke.

I'm going to make a bunch of "episodes" of this event.

Check my YouTube channel for updates. Very busy at work unfortunately. It doesn't give me much time to make videos and post on forums.

Pretty awesome show! Great turnout, lots of bikes. :olaf: Thanks to the organizers (Max, Paul, Steve, et al), it was well run and a lot of fun.

I took some photos that I may post later when I have a chance.

What he said^^^^^ except I would say fantastic show. Way to go guys!!!

I took lots of photos and video and will put them here when I have some time.

Thanks again 2 Stroke Extravaganza Team!!!

Here's a post I copied from BARF on our journey from up here.

Saturday morning

Picked up a passenger and two more motorcycles. Leaving Julian's house at 2 PM.

Highway 5 (or if you're from SoCal "The Five")

Luxury accommodations in the beautiful city of Lebec, CA, at the top of the grapevine. Numerous cables and chains with locks, disc brake locks, antitheft device on the trailer to detect the slightest motion, and removed one wheel off of the trailer.

The room had a full kitchen

Almost there

Just above the venue on a nice level spot

At the event

Julian explaining his wizardry and craft

This was in our area. The motorcycles were displayed all the way around that building.

I am humbled to have won "Best of Show" amongst all of the beautiful motorcycles at this very well organized event.

Leaving Sunday afternoon

"The Five"

After unloading at Julian's house, getting parked at my house, it is 8:42 PM.

10 hours and 40 minutes truck time. 622 miles. 13.8 MPG.

I will be putting up some videos with lots more photos on my YouTube channel. When I have a few moments.

I am considering attending this event coming from Northern California. I would love to attend the ride on Saturday but probably would drive up Saturday, stay in a hotel, then attend the Sunday event. Bringing 3 of my bikes and 2 of Julian's.

Is it possible to get in touch with the owner/organizer of this event?

Please send me an email at

Much appreciated.

Anyone else from Northern California attending?

I spoke to John (Santa Cruz Daytona and RZ350) yesterday. He has been to a few of these events and will probably attend though without motorcycles this year unfortunately.
