Not mine, but I'd like one. Lotta unknown factors to this one; are you feeling lucky, punk?

I'll forgive his misused apostrophe because he's including an RZ cylinder with the cases

I did not realize for what I was asking...that is an amazing, heart-wrenching and inspirational story, Tim. Thanks for sharing that; you have reinforced my faith in human nature.  :bacon:

My guess, too. Honda wheel, rotor and caliper; frame makes me think DOHC CB.

Not mine, but I'd like it to be:

It's been listed for awhile, and I have always loved this body style, like the 750s: Santa Monica, Montjunich, etc. I have zero Ducati experience and this thing would probably be a money pit and enormous headache, so I will admire it from afar...safely out of kicking distance.

They're amazing, aren't they? I remember when the refrain was that to make two strokes clean enough, they'd need fuel injection and sophisticated electronics, so four strokes it is. Now here we are, and all I can think of is what a modern RD350 with just a smattering of modern snowmobile technology would be like.

Not mine; seems like a good deal; maybe sell the CB stuff to finance the Yamaha's rehabilitation?

Quote from: Brad-Man on February 29, 2024, 11:41:00 PMYou should have used "this" instead of "a" if that purple engine is what you were referring to...

I find the CX engine to be unlovely. It's styled like it was intended to be hidden inside bodywork, like the PC800. Moto Guzzi made the same layout look purposeful and muscular. So when I asked "what's uglier than a CX500 engine", the answer is: this particular CX500 engine. :burnout:
