What is this screw?

Looks like an adjustment for something but I cant find any info. This is not my motor   , just a pic I found.  .

Ok , Thanks - So it isnt adjustable, just gets screwed in tight?

correct. there should be a spring and a metal cap inside of it, so if you take it out, watch out for that.
