Really?? I sat on my restored Geneva green for a year. Sold it for $3,500 to a collector in England.

On the CB350's I had I usually tried to keep the as original as possible. But when I got my RD and realized the simple upgrades and gains you can make are almost a no brainer. Now I was lucky enough to get a bunch of period correct pieces for my bike. So that makes me feel cool knowing it's still kind of period correct.

I had one of these little guys. Pretty neat. Came with the original California title. Finding  parts for a random two year only bike was a pain but still fun.

Does anyone know where to look to get a physical copy of this? I want one!

I know I've said this before. I had the same bike in restored condition and looked great. I sat on it for a year and finally sold it for $3,500 to someone in England. I guess I should have made a video.

Just a heads up. The crossover tube and manifolds are not genuine Yamaha. It could possible get a hole and suck in air. I'd hate to see all that hard work be for nothing. Get a pair of real Banshee manifolds and crossover for peace of mind.

Sometimes when I am introduced to people they usually say, "Dave rides and works on motorcycles." I ask what they ride and they mostly respond with some Harley model I don't know.  Them riding a Harley is not an issue with me. It's just that they have no idea about motorcycles and usually can't even do their own oil change. I tell my wife, "We both ride motorcycles, but literally nothing else in common about bikes."

*Incoming rant* How the hell is he asking $9,000? I had my Geneva Green 400 in restored original condition that took an entire year to sell. It sold for $3,500 to some guy in England. This is a "ran when stored" guy. This is a joker.

I think I remember hearing the cable info from Eric. Like that guy knows anything about RDs   :blah:   ;D

Ok so I checked the splitter. I removed the 2 carb cables to inspect. The one cable end cap stretched and broke from the shield casing which extended the housing therefore making the cable shorter (I hope this sentence made sense). What I ended up doing was switching the cables and it seemed to work. I then had to carb sync because they were all out of wack. Started the bike and it idle perfectly.

Should I invest in new cables anyway? I thought I heard that non oem yamaha cables stink. Is this true?
