My junk R5

On this post.. first of all I want to apologize to cracky. We made a deal for me to buy a set of pipes and I told I was legit on the deal..
But unfortunately I had to reneg and you will se why shortly..
Brother give me a call and I will make it righteousness!

Anyways.. as you ALL know I've been a royal pain in ya'lls butts for a few months now.. with stupid questions and asinine posts.
But today the sun shined down on me. 
I posted on a FB group looking for some fenders and a fellow I know locally but had not see or heRd from in quite some time read my post.. and reached out. He said "come on by the house.. I think I got what you need.
Turns out that was a understatement!

First off sadly he had not one good front fender..
He donated to me these rear fenders and both are excellent!

I have been hawking about looking for wheels.. made a long windedpost about how bad mine were..ya'll gave me a good buch of responses..
But then he wheeled out these gorgeous things..
All done up and with unused brand new tires..
And said.. "gimme $200 bucks for them"
I couldn't pull my wallet fast enough!

Ok.. I'm happy now.. but wait! THERE'S MORE!
Then he tells me to go in his storage barn ... where he has pipes galore. And shows me a rack of R5 pipes and tells me to pick out two sets Ilike.
I go through them all and get some super nice ones.
..I say .. "how much?"  He says "take them as a gift" !!
WOW.. !!

Then pulls out this box and says "Here take this with you"
And man it had a bunch of stuff I need.. especially the side cover!

Any ways I was super happy to get all these parts at a great price.
And if I left then.. I was like a dude at a Chinese buffet.. came hungry, left way full.
But it turns out he had a great dessert for me.
He brings out a project he said he will never get to and offered it to me for $300 bucks..
Another R5 frame with a nice motor complete!
Engine he says will run, has great compression and is real sweet.
Best part?? It's got a good title!

Yep.. I think so.
Definitely upped my game on my build. Every dog has their day.. bike wise I think this was mine for the year!

No doubt.. nice guy for sure.. it's great see so many folks reaching out to help me get this thing done.. this group here and him as well.
On another note.. he has one hell of a nice bike collection! I was definitely drooling over some of them.

I ain't gonna lie.. I got like way to many projects in progress..
I'm just focusing on the R5 right now and hoping the fast track it's on gets it finished before the end of June.
Got a couple vintage rides in mind this summer.

It was futile in oem.. what other option other than the adhesive one like at HVC are ?
