Is this right - that half moon, does it sit correct direction?

That's the correct direction but, if the carb is stock, it is not the correct Needle Jet (Nozzle).  Have the carbs been modified?  That is a primary Needle Jet and the 400s come stock with the bleed style jet.

Its a mix match of carb parts, did not notice. They are both gonna run oil injektion

I have maybe 10 sets of carbs and some were modified. Might have been from that

You need to check what nozzles they are, they might not be adequate for your setup.

So i assume i need to change that nozzle to a stock as the carb w. Choke?

You need to check the numbers stamped on both nozzles to figure out what you have first.

Yeah so there was only one in, the other carb had 'stock' setup..

I might think they miss some stuff so both carbs are off.

What about the tube, as you see in this picture, one carb has it and one dont

You have two left side (choke side) float bowls in the photo above.

Original needle jets should be 175 series. Whatever type you use -- bleed type or primary type -- they should be the same in both carbs.

One carb will have the brass tube and one doesn't. That's normal since you have the choke on one side.

Never messed with original carbs so these info are valuable. I Will get that sorted
