Title: Can anyone ID this bike?
Post by: Evans Ward on February 25, 2024, 06:25:10 PM
Black bike in the far back of this pic up against the Garage door. Looks to me sort of like a Suzuki GT185 Twin but the cylinder/ head fins don't match images  from my search. Looks like you can make out the GT emblem on the side cover? What say you??

A lot of it looks RD-like, but that clutch cover and that tank... :umm:

Looks like a GT250 with the wrong tank, seat, and shocks on it

I think you're right Russ! European or JDM Spec 1978 GT250C.

definitely a later gt250a/b/c. judging by the square rear light and you can just see the 2 strengthening struts in the barrels. only the 250a onwards had these. the ramair barrels had 3 struts. doesn't look like a gt250 tank though, although it does suit it  :haw:
cheers, gil.
