I watched it quite a few years ago.  I suppose it's time to watch it again, it was a good movie.

I'd been Landspeed racing for quite a while when a guy gave me that movie to watch, the next time I saw him I said yeah that's exactly what it's like! LSR racers are a great group of people, there's no big money prizes or facilities for that matter, it's all volunteers, 99% percent it's not big money out there it's just average guys going fast from hard work and good science and doin it on shoe string budgets most the time, wonderful creativity too. Half the fun is just seeing how everyone else approached the same situations you did things and you do a lot of shit I like that's... if you've never gone you should at least once.. great people, great racers.. Ed
