I would like to know if the mikuni Tm28's would be a worthwhile upgrade from the round slide vm 30's. Even though the 28's are smaller would they flow more air/give a crisper throttle response?  The bike is an rd350, electronic ignition,  high comp heads(still for pump gas), expansion chambers, yz85 reed conversion, k&n y boot air filter, crossover manifolds with boost bottle, pre mix. Cylinders are stock/not ported. I have the 28's but didn't want to put them on if it's a step backwards.
Thanks!

I'm waiting to hear about it.  I think there was a thorough discussion on the old forum.

PWK28's are a hot upgrade for RD's and RZ's - I think the TM28's will work too.  And TM28's are easy to find.

Jetting info for TM28's....

I know people like the pwk's , but I've run Mikuni for years so I have a large amount of jets and needles. I also have run tmx 30's with powerjet on other bikes but it is a euro/Asian market product so you can only get the 622 series needle jets and the power jets from europe. A real pain.
