"Fully restored"?  :umm:

someone has scarlet fever
At least he was thorough enough to paint the kickstand red too. He missed the stand relocation bracket though
That looks just wrong with the headlight bucket, fork ears, triple tree, kickstand, chain guard, rear fender, and tail light bracket all painted red! :clownshoes:

$20 chinese garbage shocks tells you he took cheap shortcuts on everything else.
Have to agree, the red all over everything does not look good at all.

I'm kinda new to the R5, RD crowd.
But the 75+ and especially the Daytona don't get me excited..
So you ain't alone.

Mark
You ain't the only one who doesn't like them. I never saw the appeal. Stock they are anemic at best. I am not a 400 fan in general. The 350s are much more fun to ride in my opinion.

Nope, I don't care for them either.  The styling just doesn't look good to me.

Should have looked like the Seca 650 that came out a couple of years later, was very similar but Seca was way better.

I love Daytonas, maybe somewhat of a sentimental thing from college days but the one listed above is too modded for me as well.

Same here, I was ~15 when they came out, loved the looks. 25 years later I got one*. Just listed on Bring a Trailer today, sad to see it go, but my riding days are mostly behind me... knees and traffic.

*wasn't a factory build Daytona, but looked like one, mostly
