General Chatter / Re: Thoughts on the Jawa CZ 350?

We have them in India . It's become quite the collectable
Well mostly it's the 250
And a very small percentage of Jawas are 350
Along with the yezdi 350 which is a locally manufactured
And rebranded jawa

So these are good to look at sound nice but move slow
Very slow when compared to the RD
They made around 21 bhp if I'm not wrong , piston ported
Like the R5
Decent tourer but not very exciting to ride

Can u guys suggest where we can find an aftermarket
More modern oil pump. I will purchase that unit for my project

In India almost everyone does premixes
But the pros for a well functioning oil pump definitely make it worth it

I have a 400 tank fitted to my DS7 with RD350 side panels. In my opinion, they don't look mismatched at all...

hmm they do seem to match well

not even a close fit. you'll be fabbing.

why not run the 350 panels?

I thought it would look cool to go for the 400 look since I'm getting the tank
But I don't want to get in the hassle of fabrication .

I'll keep it simple and go for the 350 panels then

i am considering purchasing Rd400 side panels for my 350 project
is it a direct fit or do i require some modification

and why are they more expensive than the RD350 side panels?
im buying a RD400 tank and getting a good deal on the side panels
